We are very pleased to invite you and your partner to a special evening with a beautiful dance performance by Nederlands Dans Theater (NDT): Figures in Extinction on Thursday, March 27th. We are living in an age of extinction. Can we ever hope to give a name to what we are losing? What does it mean to bear witness to a violence in which we are both perpetrator and victim?
This is a very special programme of NDT in cooperation with Complicité. The first part of the program confronts us with everything that is dying on our planet. The second part is a searing examination of our need for connection in a separated world. The third and final work will offer a spark in the darkness as to where we – collectively, spiritually, and imaginatively – might go next. You and your partner are very welcome for a drink and a vegetarian petit dinner in International Theater Amsterdam‘s (ITA) Koninklijke Foyer, from 5:15 PM. Due to the tight program, we would very much appreciate it if you would be present no later than 5:30 PM. You can expect from us that you will be in excellent company that evening (again); an anticipation you certainly don’t want to miss!
