Willem has over 15 years of experience in the field of assessments and talent development. Over the years he has counseled a large group of (senior) managers in their personal/professional growth and development.

From the late 1990s to 2012 he worked at FunktieMediair, where he was active in the roles of senior assessment & development consultant, assessment manager and, from 2008 to 2012, assessment & development director. In 2012 Willem and Pascha Lodder successfully founded Lab V, a consultancy firm with a distinctive approach, focused on leadership development and change management. Lab V works with leading organisations in various sectors.

Willem is an all-round advisor; he successfully counsels leaders, teams and organisations on change management. Assessments form an important pillar in his activities, especially on the executive level. Senior managers often complete several assessments during their career. Based on his experience and expertise, Willem and his team have developed a new approach to assessment processes.

His approach and methodology are based on a holistic vision that focuses on the executive’s overall development instead of assessing only one perspective, career, job or competence profile.
