“Organizations are faced with a shift that all of us are experiencing in society, where we have greater societal debate about human rights, where questions of equality, questions of non-discrimination … And the challenge that that presents to most (sports) organizations that the historic policy of neutrality around these questions simply does not hold true any longer. It’s not a position that is possible to maintain…”
– Jonas Baer-Hoffmann.
In the past few years, is seems as if we have been stumbling from one adversity to another. In fact, adversity has become business as usual. We feel that especially in such times, it is essential to create more space for reflection on leadership.
That’s why we are especially pleased to invite you to a new Dialogues session where our guest will be Jonas Bear-Hoffmann, General Secretary of FIFPRO (the World Football Players Union), which represents approximately 65,000 professional footballers across 65 national member unions. Jonas leads a global organization with a multifaceted stakeholder structure. He is young and ambitious, has a clear set of values, and is determined to make a positive impact on one of the world’s most complex institutions.
Bercan Günel will interview Jonas on “Breaking conventions,” tackling some of the questions we face in the midst of a fundamental societal shift. How do we ensure systemic change and redirect perspectives and perceptions? What are the leadership traits can lean on? How do you (re)define success?
The meeting will take place on April 6, 2022, at 08:30 CET in Amsterdam.
We would love to welcome you to this inspiring morning event. Join us face-to-face and feel free to seize the opportunity to interact closely with Jonas and other guests. If you prefer, of course, you can also join us via Zoom.
Once your attendance is confirmed, you will be informed of further details. Please verify your attendance via this link by March 15 at the latest. Don’t forget to state whether we can welcome you in person or whether you would like to join us via Zoom.
We look forward to welcoming you on April 6.
It is our mission to assist a new generation of leaders in their quest towards success as they steer businesses and society towards a more equitable, inclusive and sustainable future.
We are here to accommodate these leaders in their professional and personal development through our Executive Coaching program, and to help them in forming effective teams through Executive Search. We also employ effective Executive Assessment tools to help leaders and teams identify personal and operational leadership attributes in order to be able to further build on them.
